She watches Katsuki – or Kacchan, as Izuku has taken to calling him – study the flowers by their feet for a moment before wiping his hands on his pants and picking one up. He has a wide, bright smile on his face. He tucks the stem of the flower behind one of Izuku’s ears.
“Can we be heroes together, Kacchan?”
“Well duh, I-zu-ku. We’re gonna be a hero duo!” Izuku gasps, Katsuki squeezes him back, and then they’re chasing each other again.
