Izuku stares into the mirror and doesn’t recognize who looks back at him. Not a single feature looks like the ones he sees every morning. His eyes rake over a bone thin frame, bandaged head to toe. They make their way up to jet black hair, grown far longer than usual, slightly obstructing his eyesight from the monstrosity in front of him. His eyes look hollow, void of the usual green, and replaced with mud brown. His hand reaches up to meet a new wound strewn across his face. A deep clean cut that stretches from his ear to mid-forehead, cleaving an eyebrow in two and narrowly missing his eye.
