When Izuku was 3 he was scared to get a quirk or to be correct scared to be quirkless because katsuki bakugo made fun of Izuku because he was smaller and weaker than katsuki so he made fun of him, Izuku just didn't want to fight his friend or he thought they where.
When Izuku turned 4 they found out he had a strong version of his mother's quirk, what they didn't know and him was he was unintentionally suppressed his power because he wanted it to be closer to his mom since his dad left.
This is how Izuku learned that all man are not created equal especially him since he was 5 he has been getting more and more powerful.
Izuku meets a girl at age 6 who was alone because she had no real friends so Izuku tries to be her friends which makes her happy.
When Izuku and mom were 8 Momo had to more away due to her parent insisted on her becoming the head of the family but she wanted to be a hero like her only friend was.
