Katsuki Bakugou hates himself. All of it. Everything.
And while most teenagers on the cusp of adulthood do, he’s not sure he ever won’t.
Because Katsuki’s self-hatred has always managed to manifest as a palpable anger that burns those around him. Even though he constantly tries to improve, it doesn’t work. He wants to be the best in everything, and is the best in a lot of things, but it’s never enough.
He hates that he never learned how to communicate properly, he hates his obsession with power, and he hates how easily he hurts the people he cares for the most.
Exhibit A?
Izuku Midoriya, who’s quirkless for the second time around.
With graduation looming on the horizon, though, he has no idea how to keep Izuku in his life.
And the worst part is, he doesn’t.
That is, until fate draws them together once more. Like it always has, and always will.
