katsuki bakugo and izuku midoriya has always had a complicated relationship. to childhood rivals to unlikely friends. their relationship has been full of rivalry, admiration, maybe even something more for bakugo.
for bakugo, bakugo never really understood izuku. he saw izuku as some little weakling who would just follow him around, he hated that. he would always disregard izuku, if you even dared asking katsuki about how he feels about izuku his eyes would furrow in anger, he couldn’t admit it but he deeply cared for izuku but he didn’t know why he would continually ignore and shut down him.they would slowly get on good terms again, slowly after he would realize his feelings towards izuku and by that point it was too late, izukus heart was never his to claim.
bakugo slowly warmed up to izuku, showing him the side that he’s never showed anyone before. he trusted izuku more then himself. bakugo yearned for izuku, but bakugo realized that izuku will never love him the same way he loves him.
