Texas Hold 'Em

by

Izuku didn’t know what exactly drew him to Olforone, Texas. Maybe it was the fact that it was so different from what he was used to. Maybe it was the fact that he had seen too many small town movies and craved the stability that the main characters always seemed to have. Izuku didn’t know exactly what drew him to the city. Whether it was the nice photos online, the fact that the population was below 10,000 or that they sold some of the best produce you could get on the market. Maybe it was all three.

And when he told his Mom, she cried and demanded to know why. He didn’t have an answer. He was just… sick of life here. Sick of the monotony, sick of the crowds, sick of… pretending.

Pretending to be happy, pretending that he liked where he was, pretending that he enjoyed the sunshine state, pretending that he didn’t want to jump off a building every time work got hard. Pretending he wasn’t an Omega.
