Kaminari escapes to the suburbs under the guise of finding work taking care of an old mansion and the isolated family within, running from his stalker ex-girlfriend and the toxic office work environment. The mansion is beautiful, sitting on a massive plot of land, with a strange gardener, an aggressive cook, a chipper maid, and an overly-kind handyman. None of the staff are nearly as strange as the family. Kaminari was to take care of the eldest son, who suffered from an illness that made him incredibly sensitive to the sun. Kaminari had to keep Touya company at night, escort him around the mansion, and ensure he returned to his room before sunrise. Suspicions urged Kaminari to become close to Touya, too close, until he was too intertwined in his feelings for the eldest Todoroki son to leave once the family’s dark secrets began to emerge, revealing that they were all tangled together in a tighter knot than he could ever have imagined. To make matters worse, Kaminari’s ex-girlfriend followed him to the mansion.
