Izuku is having trouble taking care of his type 3 hair, or rather, he never learned how to. Raised by his pin-straight haired mother, he’s always had trouble with it and really dislikes it. He reaches out to his kinky-haired friend for advice, and she ends up doing his hair for him- cornrows! Katsuki likes Izuku’s new look, but he has no idea how to explain it in a way that’s not all sappy.
Or, basically,
Katsuki sucks at expressing his feelings to Izuku and ends up hanging out with him at some point- they’ll never admit it but they both enjoy each other’s company. Like, a LOT.
