Izuku Midoriya, a struggling 22-year-old college student, is feeling down about his single status and the financial stress of living in his small apartment. During a cosy hangout with his close friends Uraraka, Iida, and Todoroki, they convince him to download a dating app called Venus in the hopes of finding someone special. Though sceptical at first, Izuku gives in and starts swiping through profiles with little hope—until he comes across the profile of international idol Katsuki Bakugou. On a whim, Izuku swipes up, giving him a “super like,” and immediately regrets it, thinking there’s no way Bakugou would notice someone like him. But just when he’s about to give up on the app for the night, Izuku receives a message—from Katsuki himself.
