“O-oh!” Deku said, voice and face unable to read.

“Y-you don’t have to say you like me back or anything,” she waved her hands nervously, “I just wanted to finally get it off my chest.”

“Ah, Uraraka…” he rubbed the back of his neck.

She nervously played with her fingers.

“I already..like someone else.” He said shyly.

As soon as those words left his mouth, she immediately felt sadness pool over her. She also immediately knew who it was. Melissa Shield.

“What the hell do you mean, you wanna break up?” Bakugo asked conflicted, but mainly frustrated.
“Look…Kat—Bakugo, It’s just…is this relationship even going anywhere?” She asked wearily.

“‘Course it is! Why the hell wouldn’t it?” He said, raising his voice by every word.

“Couldn’t you see this coming already Katsuki? We fight all the time, we only text every other day to see how the other is doing, and I’m getting closer to becoming a real hero.”

He clenched his hand. Crap. She’s talking about the future. Her future. Without him in it. While he’s stuck down here, waiting to graduate with all the idiot extras.
