Katsuki Bakugou, now a university student, is still as intense and driven as ever, but there’s one thing that puts a damper on his fiery mood: rain. He hates it with a passion. The cold, the damp, the discomfort—it all grates on him, reminding him of vulnerability, failure, and a past he hasn’t fully dealt with. Everyone around him knows how much Katsuki loathes rainy days, especially his childhood frenemy, Izuku Midoriya, who’s taken it upon himself to annoyingly challenge Katsuki's perspective.
At university, Katsuki studies mechanical engineering while Izuku pursues kinesiology, and despite being in different fields, they keep crossing paths. Izuku, ever the optimist, loves rainy days, finding them peaceful and refreshing, much to Katsuki's annoyance. Despite their rocky history, Izuku can't help but reach out to Katsuki when he notices how much the rain seems to affect him.
What begins as Izuku's attempts to lighten Katsuki's mood on gloomy days turns into something more—an exploration of their complicated relationship, personal growth, and the healing of old wounds. As the rain continues to fall, Katsuki is forced to confront not only his hatred of the weather, but also his unresolved feelings toward Izuku.
