Law of Equivalent Exchange

by

Izuku Midoriya can't remember anything, yet somehow he's involved in everything.

After waking up in the middle of an alley with a warning against using his quirk carved onto the back of his hand (which he followed for all of five minutes before accidentally murdering a pro hero), all Izuku wants to do is stay alive and recover his memories.

The only problem is that he can't trust anyone, mostly because he doesn't know whose side he's on.

UA's principal seems way too interested in him to not have an ulterior motive, the HPSC is sending heroes one after another to capture or kill him, literal villains welcome him into their base of operations, and there's no way he's trusting an assassin even though they saved his life.

Who even is Izuku Midoriya? He hopes he'll live long enough to find out.
