Tsuyu was a human, who's whole family resembled that of frogs due to a rare genetic mutation. They fit in perfectly though in the small town right outside the lines of the greater city. A just as rare place where demons and humans found a why to coexist in a community not just personal relations. It's been hundreds of years since the last demon human war. So long it was more a story then history. So long it's not even true to what happened. It was a demon human war, not a demon vs human war.
