Obanai Shinobi just hopes for an easy year as she works at UA High School, counseling young future heroes who seem to just attract trouble. With the looming doom of the League of Villains, along with a mysterious vigilante who haunts Shinobi’s life, nothing’s easy.
She must learn how to navigate memories and pain she had tried so hard to ignore while also making sure no child died while in the school’s care, but the biggest question she had was if she'd be able to do that without a quirk.
